Anamaria is an Romanian actress. Her debut was on the large screen on Sex Traffic by Channel 4 and won it was the British Academy Television Award was given for the Best Actress. French, German English and Romanian are fluent languages. Her father is a theater instructor at one of Romania's top drama schools. The award was presented to her as the Best Female Actor of the Year in 2000 Award at The Young Actor Gala Mangalia. In 2008, the European Film Promotion Board named her a European Shooting Star in 2008. She was a Romanian actor in Cristian Mungiu's film 4 luni3 two days (four months 3 weeks, 4 months and 2 days) and was given three weeks, four months and two days) which was awarded the Palme d'Or and other prizes during the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. She also appeared in the film of Francis Ford Coppola Youth Without Youth. In 2008 she was the character Yasim Anwar in BBC mini-series The Last Enemy. Marinca has appeared on The Romanian drama Boogie and Oliver Hirschbiegels Five Minutes of Heaven. She later was the role of Irma's German aunt in Fury, which was released in 2014.
